Schedule for Saturday

It is finally here! Our 3rd annual #loveLeesburg event. Here is a schedule of what this Saturday will look like and how you can get involved.

Morning Service Projects

9am – Rally at Rising Church building. We will divide into teams and pray for our morning service projects.
9:30am-11:30am – Service Projects

  • Landscaping/weeding at Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter
  • Landscaping at Harrison St Preschool
  • Painting at Harrison St Preschool
  • Trash pick up at Crossroads Baptist Church
  • Free Car Wash at Roy Rogers on E Market St
Afternoon Service Projects

12:30pm – Rally at Rising Church building. We will divide into teams and pray for our afternoon service projects.
1pm-3pm – Service Projects

  • Banana & Water Station on the W&OD Trail in downtown Leesburg
  • Trash Pick-up at Heritage Square
  • Sorting Donations at Hope’s Treasure Thrift Store
  • Sorting Donations at Salvation Army
  • Free Car Wash at Roy Rogers on E Market St
Evening Celebration

We will cap off our day of serving with our Picnic in the Park here in the Rising Church parking lot from 4pm-8pm. This will also be a great follow-up opportunity to invite people to that you met and ministered to throughout the day.

Come and be a part of the entire day or serve during the time slot that best fits your schedule. We will be joined by the mission team from Virginia Beach Beacon Baptist Church as well as some of the student leaders and staff from Loudoun FCA.

Baptism Reminder

We will be celebrating baptisms on Sunday, August 27th. If you are someone in your family is interested in this opportunity please email me at jason@therising.cc so we can setup a time to meet before that Sunday.
