As we prepare to launch our weekly worship services this summer, I put together a 4-page document that I am calling our church plant’s Launch Packet. It outlines specific prayer needs for our launch season, 2 unique serving opportunities we are hosting all throughout the summer, as well as projects/initiatives that need financial underwriting. I will be sharing 1 page for our Launch Packet each day for the next 4 days. Thanks for journeying with us as we plant Rising Church in Leesburg, VA!

Email Jason at jason@therising.cc if you would like to receive the Launch Packet in its entirety.

1-Day Serve

We are working to build momentum this summer through community outreaches, service projects, day camps, and worship services. In order to maximize these ministries we are seeking churches and groups that will spend 1 day with us to pray over our city and canvas neighborhoods distributing information about our church plant and the activities we have going on. Here is a tentative schedule of what a 1-Day Serve might look like:

10:00am         Arrive in Leesburg / Orientation

10:30am         Prayer & Vision Tour of Leesburg

12:00pm         Lunch

1:00pm           Community Canvasing

5:00pm           Dinner / Debrief

6:30pm           Head Home

The cost for the 1-Day Serve includes 3 components:

  • Transportation to, around, and home from Leesburg, VA
  • Lunch while we are out in Leesburg (dinner will be provided by our church plant)
  • The flyers or door hangers needed for the community canvasing

Email Jason at jason@therising.cc if you are interested in scheduling a 1-Day Serve!
