Oh to be in my hometown this weekend to witness the first conference of the Invincible Tour. About 4,000 were registered to be a part of this weekend’s training near the nation’s capital. I would have loved to see the students armed with training to share their faith and then unleashed on the city to collect canned goods and share the Gospel! My favorite moment of our conference weekends is the cell phone challenge. There is something powerful about thousands of teenagers all dialing thier friends and sharing the Gospel over the phone, all in chorus with one another.
As much as I wish I could have been a part of it this conference, I am even more excited to follow-up with the Youth Leaders and assist in implementing the Deep & Wide Youth Ministry philosophy in this region of the country. So if you are a Youth Leader that was part of the Washington, DC conference this weekend, I’d love to connect with you and hear about your experience.
- What did you think of the Youth Leader Session, Shreddin the Gnar?
- How did your teenagers respond to the drama, cell phone challenge, outreach, worship, etc.?
- Have you had a chance to read/download the Deep & Wide thesis?
- What’s next for your Youth Ministry as you springboard from the conference and implement the training?
I can’t wait to hear all about your experience and learn more about your Youth Ministry. I look forward to reading your posts and following up with you over the next several weeks. You can also catch me at the Dare 2 Share offices: 303.425.1606, ext 267.
